Sweetie, along with Flash (our rare-color stud), carries some of the most beautiful lines. From this pairing, we are expecting stunning tri-chocolate, tri-black, and brindle puppies.

Fall 2025 Update from the Rodriguez Family

What a wonderful summer it has been! We’ve enjoyed the sunshine, family time, and watching our bulldogs thrive. As the seasons shift and the crisp fall air settles in, we are excited for what’s ahead.

This fall brings big news for Capitol City Bulldogs:

Sweetie is expecting her next litter, puppies will be ready to go just in time for Christmas!

Zena is also expecting, with puppies anticipated to be ready just in time for the New Year!

Breeding, like life, isn’t always easy. It involves early mornings, tough decisions, unexpected setbacks, and a whole lot of heart. But those very things, the hardships, the waiting, the wondering, are often what strengthen us the most. Without the stretching seasons, we wouldn’t see the fruit of endurance. Without challenges, we might miss the quiet but powerful transformation happening underneath it all.

This year especially, I’ve found myself reflecting on how closely life and breeding are intertwined. Both require patience. Both require trust. And both come with their fair share of messy moments before beauty unfolds.

Through it all, we give thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His unending love, grace, and provision have carried us through every season. We are so aware that without Him, none of this would be possible. He has given us not only the ability but also the heart to do what we do, with purpose, with love, and with joy.

With fall leaves crunching underfoot and the holidays around the corner, we’re looking forward to making this season extra special. With a heart that continues to trust the process, both in life and in the whelping box. Thank you for being part of our Capitol City Bulldogs family!
